Okay I do NOT, I repeat, do NOT feel like a 41 year old today. I used to look forward to birthdays, and I love this time of year with cool weather, football, and falling leaves. But for the past 2 years I have NOT looked forward to them. One thing, now that I am in my forties, I have to have yearly mammograms. NOT Fun! A couple of weeks ago I had them picked up, pulled out, and pressed like grapes in a winepress! Oh, it brought tears to my eyes. After all that torture, I was given a beautiful pink rose. As if that was going to make me feel better! Well, I am going to try to defy my age! I have signed up for Weight Watchers, and I am continuing my exercise routine of 3 miles three to four times a week. It has been almost 2 weeks with W.W. and I feel pretty good (lost 2.5 lbs). So, you young ladies out there "beware"! Those forties are coming, but you can fight it the best you can by taking care of yourself. Get those mammograms, exercise, eat healthy,and pray for a long life!

i meant to tell you that there is hope! the dietican told me that the human body has the ability to stay in shape and look good through the forties and then it gets a heck of a lot harder in the fifties...i will ask next time for the exact explanation and let you know!
Happy Birthday!! You certainly don't look 41--you look MUCH younger! Great job with the 2.5 pounds!! First Place starts again Sunday, so I'm hoping to get some more of this weight off soon.
