Memories of 2007

We can't forget about Angi's visit from Germany. Angi and a group of students came to Madisonville for a couple of weeks in October. Her English teacher's family lives here, so homes were provided for them to stay with Madisonville students. We really enjoyed Angi's visit. Hopefully, she'll come back to see us.

Lindsey had the opportunity to go on Focus on the Family's Brio Mission Trip to Peru this summer. She was gone for two weeks. It was hard to see her go, but we stayed in contact through the internet. We couldn't wait to see her when she returned. There were over 500 kids on this trip. She met youth from all over the world! The best part of her trip was hearing her stories of the kids and adults they witnessed to.

Lindsey was asked to the prom. She looks fabulous. Can you guess from these two pictures what her favorite color was at the time? Lindsey showed her first steer at the County Fair this year. She made the sale with him!

This year's Disciple Now was totally different than any other the girls have been to. The girls were pampered and treated has royalty because we are heirs of Christ crowns and all! Our home was the country of Scotland and we had an amazing group of girls. The weekend ended with a formal ceremony. The youth looked incredible and had an uplifting weekend.

Lindsey is posing with her new steer she got in April. She is raising this one to show at San Antonio and possibly Houston. You should see that steer now! Lindsey wouldn't think of kissing him now!
In June we had Todd's closest high school friends over for a 25 year reunion. They had a great time reminiscing. Don't worry, Mary, I won't publish any of the stories! We can't wait to see them again.

Stacy, my sister, and Chance, my nephew, made a couple of visits this fall. It was fun having them here. This was taken before we decorated our chins and did our famous Chinmunk video!

I have a new niece this year! Karlee Rae was born in May. Ashley is holding her at the football game.

This year I discovered BUNCO thanks to some really great friends who invited me to be part of their group. November BUNCO was pajama themed and we had a coffee and waffle bar! It was great. Ashley was a sub that night and, of course, she went all out. She is a member of our BUNCO group now. She's hooked!

Ashley had quite a year. She (Santa) gave Daniel tickets to the Dallas Mavericks basketball game for Christmas. Ashley got a boyfriend and Daniel was able to see the Mavericks. Yes Daniel, there is a Santa Claus!

Hey Teresa,

I bet I've already told more stories about the June get together. (Maybe, just to myself. :)

I love the pictures.
