Designer Paddles

What teacher wouldn't want to carry one of these around under her arm? Last year I found that if I carried my plain old paddle around with me, the kids seemed to act a little better! So, why not paint the paddles to add some style? These will go to second grade teachers. I have 3 more to paint, then I can take orders!

YIKES!

I went to the school this morning to check on my room and this is what I saw! The carpet had been taken up and now it is ready for the new! I can't wait to have that new carpet smell. I just hope it is done soon, so I can get everything back together before the teachers go back.

Our Woodlands Trip

Lunch time! Okay, no fancy lunch for us just give us some Bourbon Chicken and we are good to go! On our way to the Cajun Grill, we had to stop and pose with the Chick-fil-a cow!

Sam Moon didn't know who was comin'!

We arrived at Sam Moon around 9:40am before the crowd. We had lots of fun, and after 2 hours we managed to spend a little money!

Stacy's Necklace Holder

My sister, Stacy, is on her way to Madisonville for the weekend! We are going to Sam Moon tomorrow, and she will need something to put her finds on!

Birds for Denise

Denise found a bird material on line, copied it from the computer(on right), and gave it to me to paint on a canvas. I changed the green to match her kitchen. I also painted black stripes around the sides. After the sealer is dry, the birds will be ready to fly to Denise's home! Tweet! Tweet!

Rebecca's painting

This painting is for Kyley's daughter, Rebecca. Kyley found the zebra on the web, and I created it into a dancer! The colors will match Rebecca's new room! Hope she likes it.

Yesterday Todd and I went to pick up Lindsey's new steer. When we left it was raining! Hallelujah! As we traveled toward Franklin, the sun was shining and this beautiful rainbow appeared. I'm so glad I took my camera with me.A few months ago I painted a plethora of accessories for Sarah Bankhead's room. Sindy wanted her name to go above a desk. Here it is!

Jana, I finished Casey's board and Caleb's lovin' spoon! If you click on the picture you can see the wood grain lines in the background. This is the first time I tried wood grain on the tiles.
